We collect what you tell us — quiz answers, your questions to Sol, your account details — to match you with the right visa route and prepare your application. We never sell your data. ## 1. Who is responsible for your data RelocateIQ is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. The business’s final legal entity name and postal address are pending confirmation and legal review. Data questions and requests can be sent to info@relocateiq.live. ## 2. What we collect - **Account and contact details:** name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, sign-in details, contact preferences and consent records. - **Relocation and quiz information:** origin and destination, postcode, nationality, tax residence, household and children’s age bands, move dates, housing and lifestyle preferences. - **Financial and eligibility information:** income and employment bands, property and budget estimates, visa or residency circumstances, dependants, legal representation and recommended routes. - **Questions and casework:** questions sent to Sol, Sol’s full answers and legal citations, enquiries, case messages, uploaded attachments, service status and payment milestones. We found no storage of raw card or bank details in the platform. - **Usage and technical information:** anonymous session IDs, pages and calls to action used, comparison activity, referral page, campaign parameters, device/browser details, time on page and IP-derived location. Ask Sol logging may store a one-way hash of an IP address rather than the raw address. Some fields are optional. Free-text messages and uploads may contain additional information you choose to provide, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data. ## 3. How and why we use it We use data to provide comparisons and personalised tools; assess possible relocation, visa and tax routes; answer Sol questions; prepare and manage applications; respond to enquiries; maintain accounts and security; improve our services; and meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations. Under UK GDPR, our legal bases may include taking steps at your request or performing a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving RelocateIQ, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. Where information reveals sensitive matters such as health or immigration circumstances, an additional lawful condition may be required. The final allocation of legal bases is pending legal review. ## 4. AI and other service providers We use carefully selected providers to run the service. These include our database, authentication, storage and server-function host; OpenRouter and model providers such as Anthropic for Sol, official-law answers and selected research tasks; IP geolocation services; and Google/location-data services where maps, places or reviews are requested. Each provider receives only the information needed for the relevant task. Internal publishing and market-research tools do not automatically receive every visitor’s personal data. Providers may process data outside the UK; where UK data-protection law requires it, appropriate transfer safeguards should apply. ## 5. Cookies, browser storage and analytics RelocateIQ uses essential browser technologies to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences, restore tool or onboarding progress and associate steps within one session. Some data is session-only; authentication, notes, progress and preferences can persist after you close the browser. We also record first-party usage events in our own database, such as page context, comparison activity and calls-to-action viewed or selected. At the date below, no Google Analytics-style service, third-party advertising pixel or advertising cookie is installed. This policy and any required consent controls must be reviewed before advertising tracking is introduced. ## 6. Sharing and selling We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers acting for us, qualified Spanish gestores or lawyers involved in your case, other specialists you ask us to introduce, and public authorities where legally required. A specialist’s own privacy notice may apply when they become independently responsible for your data. ## 7. Retention and security We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legal, regulatory, dispute-resolution and accounting duties. Exact periods are pending legal review and may differ for leads, tool sessions, Sol records, accounts and completed cases. We use access controls and technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. ## 8. Your rights Depending on the circumstances, UK GDPR may give you rights to access, correct or delete your data; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Rights can be limited where another law requires us to retain or use information. Send requests to info@relocateiq.live. We may need to verify your identity before acting. ## 9.
